I had a truly enchanting stay at Chateau De Mauras in Chomerac. From the moment we arrived, the hosts, Michel and his son Quentin, made us feel like royalty. We were welcomed with a chat, Mozart, and excellent local wine, listening to captivating stories about the chateau's rich history and their family heritage.Our room was a perfect blend of comfort and historical charm, with a half bathroom on the lower level and a luxurious bathroom with a whirlpool and shower on the upper level. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the homemade breakfast, complete with fresh croissants and eggs cooked to our liking by Michel, was a delight.The property itself was like stepping back in time, with stunning views of the French countryside and a serene, quiet atmosphere that made us feel like we were in a different era. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the region.Although we didn't have a chance to enjoy a dinner at the chateau this time, Michel kindly booked us a reservation at a fantastic restaurant and even offered to chauffeur us there and back so we could fully indulge in the local wines.Chateau De Mauras truly exceeded all our expectations, offering a blend of luxury, history, and warm hospitality that made our stay unforgettable. I can't wait to return and experience more of the magic this charming property has to offer. Thank you, Michel, Quentin, and the rest of the team, for a wonderful stay.
